Sanjay is a psychotherapist with his own private practice at The Health and Wellness Centre of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, East London. His training is in Integrative Psychotherapy from the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology, Regent's College London.
Sanjay set up and ran London's first ever counseling service for South Asian Gay and Bi-sexual men through the Naz Project London. He has also been conducting therapeutic groups through PACE for the past six years, offering support to gay and bisexual men from various ethnic backgrounds, including MASTI which is a workshop specifically aimed at gay and bi men from South Asian origins and POSITIVE HUB - a social support networking group particularly for men living with HIV.
Sanjay's former training as a Church Minister in Bangalore, India and Cambridge, UK allows for a spiritual element in his practice while combining his eastern culture and philosophies to nurture a more wholesome approach to counseling.
Sanjay moved to the UK from India in 2000 to establish himself as an out gay man and to be able to help other gay people, particularly those from minority ethnic backgrounds, to integrate their culture, religion and sexuality with pride through therapy. His association with Loving Men, PACE and Pink Therapy furthers this cause.
