Moving Embrace, Embracing Movement

Sensual Contact Improvisation for Men
with Ralf Jaroschinski

Sunday 10 November, 1:00 - 7:00 pm

The Place
16 Flaxman Terrace
London WC1H 9AT

Earlybird £50 before 01 October; £60 thereafter

In contact improvisation, the zones where two (or more) bodies physically meet are the source of inspiration for sharing physical sensations and for being in movement together with one another.

This connection induces an approach to ourselves and the other which is welcoming and inclusive of our sensual, emotional and erotic bodies. As we’ll be in touch with ourselves in these classes, we’ll also find direct and unique ways of expressing ourselves with ease.

And at the same time, we’ll be in close proximity with other men, a special constellation which evokes profound intimacy, great generosity and deeply felt joy.

This class is open to everyone whatever your size, shape, capabilities or fitness level. We’ll explore a wide range of physical exercises sometimes playful and sensual, sometimes technical and dynamic. If you have limited physical abilities not all aspects of the day may be suitable for you – you are welcome to join in as much or as little as you can.

To register, please go to our  on-line shop

Please wear loose clothes, several layers are best. This class does not involve nudity. We are dancing on a sprung wooden floor in a beautiful, purpose-built dance studio – no shoes allowed.

Please bring a bottle of water. We’ll break for an hour mid-way through the afternoon – please bring light food to share.
